The successful candidate will join the IT-Engineering team delivering transformational projects in the area of MIS for Cash Management, including: Institutional Cash Management, Sales Support and Liquidity Management. We are developing new MIS solution for internal users which currently built with Python, Hadoop, Oracle, and Tableau with target of migration to Google Cloud Stack (BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Cloud Dataflow etc.). We are looking for experienced and highly motivated ETL/ Database engineer to join our development team.
This position assumes the candidate has an expert level understanding of all SDLC stages, and experience with ETL design, data warehouse development and Big Data/ Tools.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Full life-cycle of development tasks, starting from specification and design to successful implementation
- Working in the global team following Agile development practices
- Data Warehouse development and ETL design
- Build and maintain SQL procedures and ETL processes with different tools and languages
- Assistant in requirements gathering and data analytics as needed
- Estimate work effort and assist the Project Manager with task planning and LOE (level of effort) estimates
- Contribute to the system architecture
Skills You’ll Need
- 5+ years of experience in software development in the required technology streams
- Strong knowledge of Python, Pandas , Numpy and Object Oriented Programming
- Strong experience with data warehouse development and design. Extensive experience in ETL Concepts and framework including database design and performance optimization.
- SQL, PL/SQL, NoSQL and experience to work with Oracle database is a must
- Experience with Hadoop and Hadoop Ecosystem (Hive, Impala, Flume. Sqoop, Spark).
- Experience with ML and time series forecasting (e.g. FBprophet, Arima) is desirable
- Writing unit and integration tests for developed functionality
- Experience in GIT, Apache Maven, JIRA and TeamCity are desirable
- UNIX command/shell scripting experience
- Experience with Cloud solutions is a big plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
