Though we have been in business for nearly two decades, OS33 remains young at heart. At the moment we are operating remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We are a global company with headquarters in New York. Vacancy opened in our office in Nizhny Novgorod.

The main task is to ensure the stable operation of services provided to customers ("cloud technologies") and identify failures.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring early detection of failures in the operation of virtual (4000+) and physical servers( 200+), network equipment, operating systems, system and application software;
  • Work with monitoring systems, perform initial failure analysis, and escalate incidents to higher-level support departments;
  • Solving incidents, and participating in development projects.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of work as a system engineer (administrator), from 1 year of work with server technologies;
  • Experience with Windows 2008/2012/2016, preferably in a large infrastructure;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Hyper-V, Citrix XenApp, VMware, AWS, PowerShell, VBScript, or other scripting languages;
  • Understanding the principles of Active Directory and services on the Windows platform;
  • Experience working with network technologies, troubleshooting, etc.;
  • Basic knowledge of English;
  • The ability to work in a team and the desire to develop in their professional activities.

Operating mode:

  • The department operates 24/7, on a "rolling schedule" (morning/evening/night) - 3 shifts of 9 hours (8 hours of work+1 hour of lunch) and 1 day off. Equal number of shifts during the day, evening, and night;
  • Work mostly from home (99% of the time), if necessary - from the office.
