About the vacancy

Our client is a New York City-based FinTech company that is building a software platform for the investment banking industry and a line of products to serve the needs of financial companies.

DataArt is working on a project aimed at improving data management for a next-gen investment bank for B2B institutional finance. It accumulates data from 30+ different sources in specific formats to enable future business intelligence on top of it.

A platform designed to deliver all the services of a traditional investment bank reimagined and tailored to a modern digital world, all integrated into a powerful, modern technology platform driven by data and data science.

The specialist we are looking for will join the distributed team of 30-people working from Ukraine, Russia, Poland, and the USA on DataArt’s side. The whole DataArt team consists of several streams dedicated to different projects.

The frontend is being implemented in JavaScript, React, Redux, and Saga. The backend is being implemented in Python. Among other technologies Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Apache Airflow.

Must have

• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript (React preferred)
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Good spoken English

Would be a plus

• Finance domain knowledge
• Team Lead experience
