We currently have a development team in Krakow and Warsaw.On Thursday there is a team day organized in Krakow and Warsaw.Who we areWhen Volt launched in 2019, we recognised how open banking has the power to transform how businesses, wherever they happen to be, receive payments from their customers. So, we set about building an open payments gateway that enables merchants across the globe to receive direct, account-to-account payments – in real time. Now, on the back of a record-breaking $23.5 million Series A funding round, we’re building an all-star team to achieve our goal of ‘real-time payments everywhere’.The role As a QA Automation Engineer you will work closely with our development team to ship VOLT’s products fast and cleanly. We are building this team from scratch and need someone who takes ownership and who makes implementing automated testing and bug-hunting his personal mission to enable our growth machine. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop and execute automated tests using Cypress and TypeScript,Testing frontend and backend,Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities,Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs,Improve and maintain tests’ logic and tools within the CI/CD pipeline,Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs,Liaise with internal Agile teams to identify system requirements,Review of specs and code to proactively understand the potential solution.Competencies and Experience:Proven work experience in software development with Agile methodologies,At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance,Hands-on experience with automated testing of web applications,Experience in testing both frontend and backend - you have experience working with SQL and tools like Postman,Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes,Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases,Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing,Strong communication skills, ability to explain your decisions to the team in written and spoken English and at least intermediate/upper intermediate Polish (B1),Why work at Volt?In 2021, we secured $23.5 million in Series A funding – a record in the open banking space.
