In this exciting project, you will work on the FabData project, in which solutions for processing and analyzing data for the value streams in semiconductor production in Reutlingen are implemented and rolled out. The TIBCO Spotfire tool suite is used for data analysis in combination with Big Data Storage in Hadoop. This requires the implementation of user interfaces and complex templates in Spotfire to retrieve and visualize data.
Project start & project end: 15. April 2024 for app. 9 months

Activities and tasks to be performed in the project:
• Design and implementation of complex Spotfire templates by use of Python for retrieval of the data from the data lake (Hadoop) or SQL database (Oracle)
• Implementation of Spotfire extensions e.g. user interface including HTML and CSS
• Clarification of requirements of Spotfire users in collaboration with key users
• Testing and release of the new templates as well as support of users (data analysts)
• Adaptation and optimization of existing templates, e.g. for performance improvement

• Very good knowledge of Spotfire

• Very good knowledge of Hadoop and Impala
• Very good knowledge of SQL
