WORK EXPERIENCE

2017 November-present BBC Monitoring Unit in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, independent contractor (IC). Home-based work.
The bureau monitors open source foreign media from over 150 countries throughout the world in more than 70 languages.
Responsibility:
Selecting and translating information from Tajik and Russian-language electronic/ print media, based in Tajikistan into English.

2005 September – 2017 June (closure of the OSCE FO in Khujand)
OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe (POiD), Khujand Field Office, gender and media programs assistant. Responsibility:
• Monitoring and evaluation of programme activities related to gender equality, trafficking in human being, female leadership and media in Sughd Region. Tasks and responsibilities include elaboration of project proposals, monitoring reports, interim and annual evaluation/narrative reports in English, Tajik and Russian.
• Liaising with the counterparts from the civic society and government, collation and analysis of data on gender, anti-trafficking and media, affecting Sughd region
• Arranging OSCE FO/regional events, inter alia, regional seminars and visits to the area by OSCE delegations, as well as other events with OSCE participation in respective AOR.
