We are seeking a skilled and experienced Compliance Officer with a strong background in the gambling industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Compliance: ensure that the company's operations comply with all relevant gambling regulations and laws, with a focus on jurisdictions such as Curacao, Malta, and others;
- Complaints resolution: assist the Head of Compliance in resolving customer complaints, ensuring fair and transparent outcomes while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations;
- Policy Development: assist the Head of Compliance in developing, implementing, and reviewing compliance policies and procedures to align with evolving regulatory frameworks;
- Risk Assessment: assist the Head of Compliance in regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks;
- Provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements to existing compliance programs;
- Investigations: assist the Head of Compliance in investigations into any compliance-related incidents or issues, ensuring prompt resolution and reporting to relevant authorities when necessary;
- Stay Informed: keep abreast of changes in gambling regulations, industry trends, and emerging best practices, providing timely updates to the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Law, Business, or a related field;
- 3+ years of experience in a compliance role within the gambling industry;
- In-depth knowledge of gambling regulations, with a focus on Curacao, Malta and other relevant jurisdictions;
- Advanced proficiency in English (written and spoken);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
