Responsibilities:

• Oversee the visual design of both mobile and board game versions of our products, ensuring consistency and high-quality design across all platforms.
• Lead the art department, including artists and UI designers, by setting tasks and providing guidance on stylistic approaches and visual standards. Utilize industry references and competitive analysis to inform creative decisions.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and project managers to ensure the visual direction aligns with overall project goals.
• Manage and coordinate the creation of promotional materials, including Kickstarter campaigns, promotional videos, and photography for board games.
• Provide feedback to the art team, monitor progress, and ensure the final output meets established creative standards.
• Leverage a network of freelance artists and agencies to bring in additional resources as needed. Manage these external relationships and oversee their contributions.
• Clearly set and communicate creative tasks, ensuring the team understands the desired visual outcomes and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a background in creative production, art direction, or a related field. Experience working with both mobile and desktop products is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of visual design principles and the ability to translate concepts into compelling visual styles.
• Proficiency in managing and inspiring a team of designers and artists.
• Excell ent project management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with market trends and the ability to use competitive analysis to guide creative strategies.
• Excell ent communication skills to clearly articulate vision and feedback.
• Proactive and open-minded, with a focus on achieving outstanding results.
• An established network of freelance artists and agencies.
• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
