Axiom specializes in providing outstaffing and recruitment services, including hiring and controlling workflow for IT, Back Office, Support, and Market Research.

Our Client is an online eyewear retailer that offers a wide range of prescription glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses from various designer brands. They have a user-friendly website that allows customers to easily browse and purchase eyewear products online. The Company also provides virtual try-on features that allow customers to see how the glasses will look on their face before making a purchase. Additionally, the company offers free shipping and returns in the US and has a customer service team available to assist with any inquiries or concerns. Now we are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Close communications with all stakeholders (external, internal, business stakeholders) to understand their requirements, needs, wants, and pain points.
• Collecting, analysing, documenting, and prioritizing all the business and technical requirements based on all the communications with external and internal stakeholders.
• Working with the development team to define and then document the system requirements.
• Developing all the technical documentation/specifications for the development teams based on collected requirements.
• Participating in all corresponding external and internal communications (meetings, chats, etc) to discuss the business, technical/system, product-related requirements, documentation, and other questions of the development teams.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 3 years experience in IT Business Analysis.
• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a similar field. A professional certification in business analysis (CBAP, etc) will be a plus.
• Business and technical knowledge: The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of both business and technical concepts. They should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: An IT Business Analyst must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, evaluate and recommend solutions for business problems. They should be able to think critically, work with data, and analyze complex systems.
• Communication and interpersonal skills: An IT Business Analyst must be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with all external/internal/business/technical/non-technical stakeholders. They should be able to present complex information in an understandable and compelling way.
• Technical skills: An IT Business Analyst should have knowledge of software development processes and concepts, databases, and data analysis. Familiarity with programming languages, such as PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL is a plus.
• Technical Documentation/Specifications: Excellent technical documentation/specifications development skills
• Attention to detail: An IT Business Analyst should be detail-oriented, ensuring that all requirements are captured accurately.
• High Proficiency in Spoken and Written English is a must.
