About role:

As a Project Manager , you will work with Backend Team developing Core Insurance Engine and other internal projects. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations and to plan projects accordingly
• Administering and adjusting the processes inside the development teams
• Assisting with building a roadmap, setting objectives, and prioritising projects' pipeline
• Documenting key risks, information gaps and dependencies in the project plans
• Effectively managing and communicating the projects' objectives, progress and any issues that may affect the process
• Continuous improvement: facilitating retrospective meetings, communicating ideas and gathering feedback inside as well as outside of the department

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant project management experience inside platform or backend software development teams
• Experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Previous experience in InsurTech or Fintech would be a plus
• Excellent communication skills
• English: Intermediate +

Terms

• Long-term service agreement contract with QIC with 3 months probation period
• Group and Individual English language classes
• We are diverse our digital nomads work remotely from 20+ different countries
• Payment in US dollars monthly to your bank account using SWIFT
• Full-time remote, work schedule: 5 days per week, Sunday to Thursday, GMT +3 timezone
• Vacation policy: Qatar Holiday Calendar, 20 days of vacation, and 10 sick-day-offs
• Performance reviews are conducted twice a year, with the possibility of a raise in March and September
• Potential opportunity to apply for a Qatar ID and relocation to Doha, Qatar
