The Firm

TA Legal Consulting is a law firm specialising in corporate matters as well as in resolution of commercial disputes. We assist clients in Russia and abroad with cross-border matters under Russian and English law. Our key team members have over 10 years of experience in international law firms and have advised on the most complex transactions on the market. All our lawyers and staff speak English fluently.

Job Description:

You will work directly with Partners and Consultants of the Firm, assisting them with various corporate matters. You will interact with clients and other parties' legal counsel on a daily basis in Russian and in English. You will deal with Russian government authorities and notaries on client matters. You will also be expected to lead and mentor a team of paralegals, effectively delegate tasks and provide feedback.

Due to international focus of the Firm, English and Russian will be your equally important working languages on a daily basis.

Required Skills

• Important: Fluent English, including legal terminology
• Сompleted higher legal education (bachelor's/master's degree)
• 1-3 years of experience as a lawyer in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Ability to work independently in a proactive manner
• Ability to effectively delegate to junior colleagues and provide good feedback
• Ability to conduct legal analyses, preparing procedural documents
• Ability to analyse Russian and private international law
• LLM or other post-graduate degree will be a plus
• Good knowledge of civil and arbitrazh procedural legislation
