Our client - an award-winning FinTech organisation - is looking for a Network Engineer. The company has a team of over 700 employees globally.
Remote role from any location in GMT - GMT+8 time zone
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to design, deploy, and support the global network and security infrastructure. This role involves engineering, operational support, documentation, and working on high-impact projects as a network architect. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cisco networking, security solutions, cloud technologies, and automation.
Requirements - Design, implement, and support global network and firewall infrastructure
- Act as a network architect in projects, ensuring best practices in design and deployment
- Provide operational support for global network and security solutions
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and train support teams
- Work closely with carriers and external vendors to optimize network performance
- Manage projects related to network engineering, ensuring on-time delivery and risk management
Key Skills & Qualifications - Strong expertise in Cisco campus & data center networks , including EVPN
- Advanced routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Experience with QoS and Multicast networking
- Expertise in Cisco & FortiGate security solutions (Firewalls, IPS/IDS, VPNs)
- Experience with web proxies, load balancers, WAN optimization
- Hands-on experience with cloud networking (GCP, AWS)
- Strong skills in network automation & scripting (Python, REST/Postman, Netbox, Ansible, Bash, GIT, Terraform)
- Experience working with NFV, SDN, SD-WAN
- Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Kibana)
- Good understanding of Windows/UNIX, AD, LDAP
- Ability to lead network-related projects , manage budgets, and assess risks
- ITIL knowledge & experience
- English - B2+
