Position Overview
As the Vice President/President for Cosmos Pumps Pvt. Ltd. in Russia, you will oversee and drive sales and business development in the Russian market. This role is pivotal in building strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the success of our brand, and positioning Cosmos Pumps as a leader in the dewatering pump sector. It offers significant leadership responsibilities, international exposure, and a direct impact on the company s growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage the Russian sales team, ensuring performance targets are met.
- Foster a high-performance, goal-oriented environment and provide strategic direction.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and product knowledge.
- Motivate and guide team members to consistently achieve sales targets.
2. Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Russia, aligning with global objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the construction, mining, and industrial sectors.
- Deliver tailored solutions to meet client needs, ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Market Expansion & Brand Positioning
- Establish and maintain a strong brand presence for Cosmos Pumps in Russia.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies.
- Identify opportunities to expand Cosmos Pumps footprint in the Russian dewatering pump market.
4. Negotiation & Strategic Planning
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with large clients and partners.
- Lead strategic discussions with senior stakeholders to close high-value deals.
- Provide senior management with strategic recommendations based on market insights and performance data.
5. Export Documentation & Trade Compliance
- Oversee export documentation to ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
- Ensure adherence to local laws and international trade agreements.
6. Project Management
- Manage large-scale pump installation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications
- Education: A relevant degree (engineering or business) is preferred.
- Experience: 10-20 years in sales, particularly in dewatering pumps or industrial machinery.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and drive business growth.
- Sales Expertise: Deep understanding of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Strategic Thinking: Capability to make data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Communication: Proficiency in both Russian and English, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify challenges and develop solutions.
- Channel Development: Experience in identifying dealers and equipment rental companies in the construction and mining segments.
