Prolev Technologies is a team of highly skilled professionals. We work with large american clients. We’re looking for an experienced software engineer to be a key contributor developing mobile applications that will drive the future of the business. You will join our Mobile team, using the latest technology and tools to build high-quality applications that delight our customers.
Principal Software Engineer is a technical hands-on leadership role. You are responsible for the product architecture, technical design of the application, and writing of high-quality code.
Beyond technical leadership, you contribute significantly to Product Design – working closely with Product Manager and UX Designer.
You exhibit sound judgment when making technical and product decisions, balancing short and long term requirements.
You exemplify code ownership – from well-designed code to testing that verifies all possible execution paths.
You know what it takes to make an application production ready in terms of performance and scaling.
While being an expert in mobile technologies, you are reasonably knowledgeable about other domains like cloud and web.
You can produce useful technical artifacts that are easy to understand while being accurate.
You have a strong grasp of industry standards, best practices, architecture and design patterns.
You exhibit natural leadership, and others seek you out for guidance and counsel.
You have a multiplier effect, and your input makes the rest of the team more productive.
You are comfortable networking with a broad range of stakeholders and able to assess multiple points of view.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
5+ years of experience developing systems/software for consumers or businesses.
3+ years of experience building consumer-facing mobile applications.
Knowledge of React Native, and in building of hybrid apps. Always learning.
Strong sense of what makes an app visually appealing and intuitive to use.
Solid design and coding skills.
Skilled in software development lifecycle processes. Experience with SCRUM, Agile and iterative approaches a plus.
Demonstrated ability to work with global teams across time zones.
Prior working experience in cloud computing domain a plus.
Strong mentoring skills. Able to influence and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.
Experience driving for results across cross-functional teams while maintaining effective working relationships.
Excellent communication skills. Communicates clearly, succinctly and persuasively to all levels of employees, customers and management (including executives).
