We re looking for a Senior Design Engineer to bridge the gap between design and development , combining creative leadership with strong UX skills and front-end QA capabilities. This position is both client-facing and highly collaborative, ensuring that all work meets the latest standards in user experience and visual quality. From design concept to final production, you ll guide clients, designers, and developers to deliver polished, robust digital products.

Key Responsibilities

1. UX & Visual Design Leadership

   • Conceptualise and create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.

   • Establish and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries.

   • Translate complex business goals into clear, intuitive user flows and interactions.
     

2. Collaboration & QA

   • Partner with developers to ensure implementation of design files.

   • Conduct regular reviews of front-end or dashboard development, identifying and addressing layout issues, missing states, or UX inconsistencies.

   • Suggest and refine micro-interactions and animations that bring delight to the user.
     

3. Client Workshops & Communication

   • Lead (or co-lead) design discovery workshops, presentations, and feedback loops.

   • Clearly articulate the rationale behind design decisions, tying them to business objectives and user needs.

   • Gather and interpret client feedback, translating it into actionable tasks for the team.
     

4. Process & Design System Enhancement

   • Improve internal design processes from initial concept to final handoff, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.

   • Remain current on design trends, tools, and front-end frameworks to continuously elevate our approach.

   • Facilitate internal workshops, sharing insights on new methodologies, tools, and best practices.
     

5. Mentorship & Team Direction

   • Provide design critique and guidance to junior/mid-level designers on the team.

   • Collaborate with project managers to scope design tasks, allocate resources, and track progress.

   • Advocate for design quality within cross-functional teams, ensuring consistency and a shared vision.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ Years of Experience in UX/UI or Product Design (agency or in-house).

• Robust Portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving approach, and finished products (include link in application).

• Front-End Fluency: Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and understanding of JavaScript basics. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers on technical details.

• Excellent English Communication: Capable of running client calls, presenting designs, and writing clear documentation in English at a C1/C2 or equivalent level.

• Toolset Proficiency: Figma, and other current tools for prototyping and high-fidelity design.

• Strong Eye for Detail: Able to spot inconsistencies, missing states, or awkward interactions before they become issues.

• Team Player & Leader: Adept at coordinating with diverse teams (designers, developers, project managers), as well as mentoring junior colleagues.
