We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead and execute marketing strategies for Tambadana (online loan service) and Ahapay (BNPL service) in Malaysia. This role will focus on offline marketing, ATL campaigns, and local market activations . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in media planning, brand positioning, and agency management to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
ATL & Offline Marketing:
- Develop and execute mass media campaigns including TV, radio, billboards, print, and OOH (Out-Of-Home) advertising to enhance brand visibility.
- Manage relationships with media agencies, publishers, and advertising vendors to plan and negotiate media placements.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to refine ATL marketing strategies.
- Oversee execution of events, sponsorships, and offline activations to increase brand credibility and customer trust.
- Monitor and evaluate campaign effectiveness to ensure budget efficiency and ROI optimization .
Local Market Expansion & Branding:
- Develop brand positioning and storytelling tailored to the Malaysian market .
- Work closely with local agencies and partners to align messaging and distribution strategies.
- Identify regional growth opportunities , consumer behavior trends, and market insights to enhance the brand s presence.
- Oversee PR, corporate partnerships, and community engagement initiatives .
Collaboration with Digital & Performance Teams:
- Align offline campaigns with digital marketing efforts to ensure an integrated brand experience.
- Work closely with the social media and content teams to synchronize messaging across channels.
- Leverage data insights from digital campaigns to inform offline strategies and vice versa.
Agency & Budget Management:
- Identify, onboard, and manage creative agencies, media planners, and production teams .
- Supervise marketing budget allocation to maximize reach and cost-effectiveness .
- Negotiate contracts and performance expectations with external partners .
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on ATL, offline advertising, and local market activations .
- Strong expertise in TV, radio, OOH advertising, and mass media planning .
- Proven experience working with local agencies, media vendors, and production companies in Malaysia.
- Understanding of the fintech industry, financial regulations, and consumer finance marketing .
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in campaign tracking, budget management, and performance reporting .
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in finance, fintech, e-commerce, or telecommunications industries .
- Background in integrated marketing campaigns combining ATL and digital strategies.
- Familiarity with consumer credit and financial product marketing in Malaysia.
