Our client is a company based in Dubai that wishes to maintain confidentiality. We develop and operate high-performance infrastructure for algorithmic trading in the crypto space real-time data, low-latency execution on centralized and decentralized platforms (perps, prediction markets, DeFi), and secure key management.

The team combines strategy research (statistics, ML/AI), data engineering, and DevOps to quickly translate ideas into profitable production solutions.

Description

Research and prototype profitable trading strategies across crypto perps, prediction markets, and emerging DeFi protocols using granular data and fast, AI-driven iteration. If you like moving fast and turning data into PnL, this role is for you.

What You ll Do

• Analyze order books, funding, liquidations, and DeFi mechanics
• Build fair-value models and mispricing signals across venues
• Find features using statistical, ML, and AI-assisted techniques
• Test market-making, arbitrage, yield, and idiosyncratic strategies
• Work with engineers to deploy research into production
• Use LLMs and modern AI tools to iterate quickly
• Refine strategies using live performance and new data.

We expect you to have

• Experience in quantitative research or trading 3+ for Mid; 5+ years for Senior.
• Deep understanding of market microstructure, order books, execution and trading risk.
• Practical experience with crypto products: perpetual futures, AMMs/DEXs, lending/borrowing or demonstrable experience on adjacent markets.
• Strong Python skills (pandas, NumPy); experience building backtesting frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with tick / L2 data and awareness of data quality issues and price artifacts.
• Experience in feature engineering, time-series modeling and statistical validation.
• Ability to write clear experiment specifications and collaborate effectively with engineers.
• Technology & data
• Primary language: Python (with possible auxiliary components in Rust/Go).
• Tools: pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch/TF (as needed), SQL, Kafka/streaming.
• Data: tick data, L2 orderbooks, exchange trade feeds (CEX/DEX), on-chain data (events, logs), ETL pipelines.
• AI tools: LLMs (open models or API-based)

What we offer

• Based in Dubai, but can work remotely. Full time, remote but with mandatory periods of working from Dubai
• We will pay for periodic visits / work from Dubai. This will be a necessary part of working with us
• The salary range and payment terms are wide, as skill levels vary. The final salary level is discussed with the successful candidate.
• 2 interview - personal + technical with a test task. 2 week process
• Mandatory knowledge of English (B2 - B1).
