Travel company / luxury segment
We re looking for a Senior Copywriter / Head of Text to own all written content across our projects:
from expedition landing pages and brochures to campaign messaging and brand narratives
This is a hands-on role at the start, with the opportunity to build and lead an editorial team shortly after
Must-have:
- Native or near-native English, ideally US English
- Proven editorial or writing background in travel, exploration, or cultural storytelling
- Experience with high-quality editorial brands (e.g. National Geographic, premium travel publications, or equivalent)
Huge plus:
- Experience writing for luxury travel or expedition cruises
- Background in long-form storytelling, editorial features, or destination writing
- Ability to translate complex itineraries into compelling, aspirational narratives
Responsibilities
Stage 1 Hands-on (immediate):
- Take full responsibility for all copy and editorial output
- Write, edit, and refine texts for:
- Websites & landing pages
- Brochures & sales materials
- Campaign messaging & promotional content
- Define tone of voice and editorial standards
Stage 2 Build & Lead:
- Build an editorial team (copywriter(s), image editor)
- Establish workflows, processes, and quality control
- Act as the final editorial authority across all content
