Your key responsibilities as a Creative Designer will be to:
• Create designs that engage, attract and sell, maximizing customer experience and
satisfaction.
• Work with Art Directors, Project and Product Managers to refine concepts /
present work independently.
• Participate in critiques and contribute toward the larger department’s goals of
creating high-end commerce-driving solutions.
• Research design trends as well, as photography or illustration needs.
• Integrate typographic, photographic, illustration and other elements into
designs.
• Retouch imagery at a concept level, finding elegant balance between art and science.
Required Professional skills and knowledge:
• 1-2 years of visual design experience;
• Proficient with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD
• Able to collaborate with teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned
projects;
• Conceptual research and design skills;
• Strong understanding of basic design principles (type, color, layout, composition)
as well, as messaging or visual hierarchy, an eye for design and photography;
• The ability to translate business needs into design solutions;
• A proven track record in developing solutions for brand-forward content and
commerce products;
• The ability to take and follow direction, an overall attention to detail, the ability
to prioritize work.
As a great plus:
• A blended background of in-house and agency experience
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
