This is a remote Quantity Surveyor / Construction Materials Procurement Specialist position that will play a critical role in providing support for the Company’s procurement activities in the United States, including understanding their impacts on the financial results of the Company. This role liaises across multiple functions and coordinates the flow of information between multiple levels of management. This position will ensure procurement transactions are accurately planned, approved and reported. This position will perform accounting research in order to provide management with timely information for decision-making. The position will also focus on continuous improvement to align procurement processes with accounting requirements in a constantly changing environment.
• Experience working with International Suppliers is a must
• Excellent level of spoken and written English
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant working experience in the discipline
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying; Related Field (Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, etc); Accounting or Finance
• Proactive, quality-driven, self-motivated, and hands-on team-leader with the ability to multitask
• Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, global organization
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent analytical, teamwork, customer service, and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential, ability to communicate well with clients and senior management
