Position Description:
Actsoft, Inc is a global provider of wireless data software applications. As a Software Performance Tester, you will be responsible for load and stress testing Actsoft software and systems
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of QA Test Engineering or Development experience
- Acquainted with Agile and standard QA Processes, Policies and Procedures
- Solid knowledge of software testing QA Processes
- How to create test specific documentation (Test Cases and Test Plans) and functionality testing.
- Test planning
- End-to-end testing
- Bug life cycle
- User Acceptance Testing (understanding the user experience)
- Solid understanding of the types and methods of software testing (functional, performance, regression, exploratory, usability, security testing, etc)
- Knowledge of testing tools, screen capture tools for Manual Testing, bug tracking and bug reporting procedures
- Analyze the Software specifications and requirements
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Knowledge of Agile Testing Best Practices
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Process
- Adaptability and Flexibility to work with other teams
Technical Skills
- MS SQL Server / Mgmt Studio
- Experience working with bug/issue tracking software such as Bugzilla, Jira, Azure DevOps
- Browsers: IE11, Edge, Chrome and FF on Windows OS
- Knowledge of JS, base level
- General Automation Knowledge in Test Automation best practices
- General performance testing knowledge in performance testing best practices
- Creating and maintaining performance test cases
- Utilization of load testing tools
- Experience working with large amount of data
Nice to have
- Ability to document process and procedures via standard wiki language
- Mobile Readiness
- API (REST/WCF) Experience
- Safari on Apple OS
- Experience utilizing Azure/AI/Analytics and k6 (load impact) to performance test
- Experience utilizing Selenium
