About the role:
The position would allow you to move into the team and immediately take up the lead in design and implementation work on business process and application projects in the areas of SAP BW, BW4HANA, SAC, BO in cooperation with Application Template Lead.
Key responsibilities:
- Work independently on business processes and application solutions within the BI area as part of the application delivery team;
- Lead and drive fit/gap analyses in the reporting process area during the projects;
- Defending the corporate SAP BW/BO reporting applications for any new implementation (M&A, greenfield, existing operations not integrated yet);
- Executing expert level analysis of requirements and implementing them with the most possible efficiency;
- Leading the design sessions with business stakeholders for improvements and the introduction of new functionality;
- Performs full lifecycle project tasks: detailed design, build/configuration, testing, data design and modelling & coach business users on data preparation and usage of the solution. The tasks cover all aspects of business change (processes, business data, supporting applications, organization alignment, enabling IT-infrastructure);
- Work with people from remote locations/regions (internal/external);
- Continue to grow expertise for the respective business processes and applications.
About you:
- Master’s degree in (applied) Economics, Commercial Engineering, Information Technology or similar;
- 7+ years of experience within SAP BI area as a senior functional analyst and (or) developer;
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BW (BW4HANA is a plus) and SAP HANA Native.
- Excellent knowledge in data warehouse modelling technics, mixed scenarios, HANA SQL Data warehouse modelling, data transformation, data extraction, etc.
- Experience in data integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, cloud services;
- Solid experience in ABAP (BI scope: start routine, end routine, FM, BADIs, etc.) is a must
- Good experience in BI frontend tools for reporting (i.e. SAC, SAP BO platform tools, Lumira, etc.)
- Analytical mind, structured and attention to detail makes you an ideal candidate;
- Knowledge of at least 3 or more SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, FI)
- Excellent communicator and team player with a critical, yet result-oriented and positive attitude;
- Strong in English.
- Willing to relocate to Poland.
