Вакансия: Technical Sales Engineer

The X-Cart Technical Sales Engineer is part of the XC Sales team. You will be assisting X-Cart Sales Development Representatives (SDR’s) and Account Executives (AE’s) with the technical qualification and developing accurate technical specifications to help achieve revenue goals. The position reports to the Head of Sales Engineering.

Required skills

  • Experience and knowledge in eCommerce and software industry is preferable.

  • Technical education and/or good technical skills are a plus.

  • English proficiency level (speaking and writing) - Advanced level.

  • Excellent communication skills required.

  • Ability to explain complex technical information to customers and clients in a simple way.

  • Ability to understand both the business and technical cases required by clients.

  • Ability to build relationships, advise internal and external parties on best paths forward for implementation.

  • Ability to identify key issues and problems and pick the best choice among alternatives.

  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gathering requirements through meetings, reading external documents, emails, previous implementations, market research regarding customization requests from new and existing X-Cart customers.

  • Performing requirements analysis.

  • Acting as an X-Cart and development subject matter expert in client facing meetings.

  • Accurately estimating hours required for each request (independently and with the help of our technical team).

  • Documenting scope of work and hours estimated for internal review.

  • Preparing proposals and presenting them to customers.

  • Working closely with the Solution Services team to consult on technical questions.

  • Partnering with X-Cart Sales Associates & Account Executives to present solutions and estimated fees to the leads.
