Вакансия: Platform Reliability Engineer

We are looking for a Platform Reliability Engineer for one of the top companies in the field of HFT. We value talent, deep knowledge, critical thinking, openness and courtesy in communication.

This is a paid internship with possible employment in our company after successful graduation. You will be busy with our tasks 5+ hours a day, so you can combine this internship with another job.

Responsibilities:

• During the internship (3-4 months), you will have the opportunity to perform real business tasks and gain new knowledge in the field of High-Frequency Trading;

• Monitor several sources (logs, alerts, news feeds, system metrics) to detect platform and external services issues;

• Respond to incidents according to provided guidelines;

• Investigate software, network and hardware issues, perform immediate recovery when possible;

• Report issues to software engineers;

• Communicate with peer teams and external service providers on ongoing operations.

Skills and Experience:

• 6+ months of experience in IT-systems monitoring and incident response or background in analytics, system administration, technical support, QA;

• Interest in the field of trading or any experience of independent trading.

• Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics;

• Knowledge of Linux operating systems;

• Experience with command line tools and scripting languages (bash/python);

• A rigorous, detail-oriented approach to operations;

• English for reading technical documentation (B1-B2).

Bonus Points:

• Basic to moderate knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, VPN, HTTP, WebSocket);

• Experience in the HFT or related areas
