Вакансия: QA Engineer

An international banking as-a-service company (based in the UK) is interested in QA Engineer (manual/auto) - a remote work.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with internal development teams, work with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, test cases and then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
• Dive into difficult problems and successfully deliver results on schedule.
• Monitor debugging process results.
• Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
• Develop and design technical documentation for company-wide software testing activities, procedures, and processes.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.

Requirements:

• Development experience in companywide software testing activities for at least 5 years in financial service industry.
• Confident with SQL to write, debug and query optimization.
• Experience writing unit tests, regression tests, component integration tests, system integration tests, CI/CD process.
• Experience in developing microservices in container environments.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance domain.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress.
• Experience in testing of mobile applications, experience interacting with developers both iOS and Android platforms.
• Technology leadership experience in organizing automated testing, including end user UI tests, integration and load testing as a part of company CI/CD process.
• Experience and full understanding with all phases of the software development life cycle, testing process role, best practices, and Agile Software Development.
