Вакансия: Senior Technical Writer

Kaspersky Lab is looking for full-time Senior Technical Writer to join their in-house documentation and localization group, developing user interface texts and documentation to support their computer security products for Mac & Mobile platforms.  

Responsibilities will include the following: 

• Write easy-to-understand graphical user interface (GUI) texts, product descriptions, what’s new


• Check GUI texts for linguistic issues


• Write, edit and proofread user documentation and Help (content, language, style, and conventions)


• Meet agreed deadlines


• Contribute to project glossaries and corporate style guides

Required skills:

• Fluent English speaker with excellent writing and editing skills and the ability to follow styles and standards.


• Knowledge of Russian


• Education in linguistics and/or information technology (IT) is preferred


• Experience in editing and proofreading (at least 1 year)


• Technical aptitude


• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment


• Strong communication skills and attention to detail 

Desired skills:

• Experience developing graphical user interface text


• Experience in copywriting, writing marketing texts


• Experience in linguistic testing of software products
