As a Product Manager of our fintech company, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of payment-related products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, compliance, and customer support, to define, build, and launch payment solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Roadmap:
- Develop a clear product strategy for payment offerings aligned with the company's goals and vision.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business objectives.
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitors in the payments space.
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
- Product Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and user stories.
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure timely development and delivery of payment solutions.
- Conduct user acceptance testing and gather feedback to iterate and improve the product.
- Compliance and Security:
- Ensure that payment products comply with relevant financial regulations and security standards.
- Collaborate with compliance teams to address any regulatory requirements.
- User Experience and Design:
- Work with designers to create user-friendly interfaces and experiences for payment products.
- Continuously optimize the user journey to enhance user satisfaction and conversion rates.
- Analytics and Performance Monitoring:
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of payment products.
- Analyze data to measure product performance and user behavior, making data-driven decisions.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate product updates, progress, and changes to internal teams and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies and promotional materials.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, preferably in fintech or payments.
- Strong understanding of payment systems, financial regulations, and security standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Data-driven mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
