Bright Pattern is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for Automation Framework (AF) project.

Bright Pattern US is the highest-rated omnichannel contact center platform with the fastest time to deploy in the industry. Bright Pattern s platform allows businesses to provide effortless omnichannel conversations across voice and digital channels along with omnichannel quality management. We are the only company in the industry providing a mobile app, Bright Pattern Mobile, that enables customers to connect with any employee across any channel via their mobile device.

The AF is a sophisticated distributed software system implementing the Automated Testing of the Company Products in CI/CD process. AF offers a proprietary test case language w/ compiler, cloud-based IDE, debugging tools and a set of backend components implementing various services (SIP, SMS, Chat, etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and improve the AF system to enable and support extensive growth of the Company Products

• Expand the AF to include all now-in-use and upcoming features of the company's products in the Automated Testing process

• Maintain and enhance the proprietary language and the tools (IDE, compiler, debugger) with the required functionalities and features

• Implement test cases and support the implementation process with QA Engineers

Qualifications and Skills (must-have):

• Strong background in backend services development

• Strong understanding of Software Architecture and Design Patterns

• Deep experience in development of backend services on Python (sync/async, aiohttp, Selenium)

• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, Mongo)

• Experience in development of frontend applications (Javascript)

• Experience in work with orchestration tools (Docker)

• Experience in system administration of Linux

Ideal Additional Skills (good to have):

• Strong experience in backend development on C++ or/and Go programming languages (5+ years of experience)

• Experience in system development (Linux/Windows/MacOS)

• Experience in frontend development on React

• Understanding of Machine Learning algorithms
