At Novakid, we have a mission to create the best in the world online education platform for children. With over 60,000 students and 2,000 teachers, we are already one of the most popular language learning platforms for 4 - 12 year olds in Europe and Asia.

We have gotten this far, but there is so more to do and that s where you come in!

We're in search of a proficient WordPress Developer to join our team, requiring expertise in WordPress core features, theme development, and plugin integration, alongside fluency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Responsibilities :

• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project needs.

• Perform website updates, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks.

• Optimize website performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices.

• Collaborate with designers, other developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality projects on time.

• Stay updated on the latest web development trends and technologies.

Requirements :

• 3+ proficiency in WordPress (we use v6.4.3) development, including custom theme and plugin development.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Knowledge of PHP (we use v7.4),

• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries.

• Familiarity with responsive design principles.

• Ability to debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket.
