We re looking for

experienced Customer Development Manager who will enhance customer acquisition and engagement, ensuring a seamless transition from lead to paying customer, and meticulously recording feedback in the CRM system.

Your Key Performance Indicators will be: Revenue by sales channel, growth in active customer base, and customer retention metrics.

Responsibilities :

  • Identify potential customers through specialized platforms and exhibitions, initiating contact with decision-makers. Analyze customer needs to boost sales across different client segments and product lines. Build a prospective customer database in the CRM system, managing the lead-to-order-to-payment conversion process.
  • Contribute to the development of lead generation and sales channel strategies. Participate in crafting customer acquisition strategies.
  • Direct leads to the platform for downloading price lists, securing and documenting feedback.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery conditions. Justify and agree on special terms. Handle pricing requests from customers, ensuring conversion to orders and sales, followed by successful delivery.
  • Collect pre-orders as part of marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure order fulfillment in collaboration with the procurement team.
  • Monitor customer payments, invoice settlements, and timely advance and product payments. Oversee financial transactions with customers.
  • Manage shipments and customer claims, liaising with other departments to resolve disputes.
  • Participate in exhibitions, managing booth operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably at least 3 years in the automotive parts or car market.
  • At least 1 year of experience in import/export sales is mandatory.
  • Having an existing network of buyers (networks, distributors, dealers) is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to work with a cold customer base, identify opportunities, and maintain engagement with potential customers.
  • High-level negotiation skills, with the ability to persuade and build long-term relationships with clients.
  • Knowledge of B2B sales methodologies, understanding of client base management processes, and tools.
  • Fluent in Russian (B2+).
  • Fluent in English (B2+), with at least 6 months of sales experience in English.

  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel for analysis and planning.
  • Experience managing inventory orders of 100+ items.
  • Previous sales experience with anticipated inventory arrivals is a plus.
  • Understanding remote warehouse operations is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with accounting and reporting software (1C, Odoo), CRM systems.
  • Open to travel and highly mobile

Goals:

3 Months:

  • Create a database of 600+ potential leads, establish contact, and record their feedback.
  • Convert at least 18 leads into customers, with completed orders and payments (3% conversion rate).
  • Propose improvements to the order collection process and interaction with related services.
  • Recommend essential informational tools for subscription or purchase.

6 Months:

  • Expand the lead database to 1800+.
  • Increase order conversion rate from 3% to 5%.
  • Suggest assortment expansion/pre-orders/stock based on customer feedback.
  • Propose a strategic plan for business trips.
