Responsibilities:

• Designing game locations and player objectives on them;
• Adjusting the balance of enemies and loot on the locations (difficulty curve);
• Interaction with the development department, participation in the creation and customisation of the event system on the locations;
• Interaction with other departments in order to develop optimal solutions for level design: game designers, artists, programmers;
• Conducting playtests of locations;
• Creating documentation on locations and technical tasks for the art department;
• Project development planning and development control (regarding design-levels);
• Translated with DeepL.com (free version);
• Management of the level design team: drawing up plans, distributing the workload, monitoring deadlines and accepting work results, participating in the hiring and development of employees.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience as a lead level designer or above;
• Experience with UE4/5, preferably from 1 year, (if you have knowledge in Unity, or CryEngine will be a plus);
• Experience in level design (not lvl art): working out the design of locations, building blockouts, working with gameplay content, maintaining supporting documentation, etc;
• Ability to analyse problem places and decompose both your work and reference levels, etc;
• Experience in mobile game development (shooter/action);
• In-depth knowledge of the UE4/5 engine;
• Familiarity with UE5;
• Experience in modelling;
• Ability to work with blueprint, create a simple toolkit for yourself, or order it from developers.
