Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Part-Time Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring our VPN products meet the highest standards of quality and functionality. You will work closely with our development and support teams to identify issues, develop testing protocols, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Planning and Execution
Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Perform manual and automated testing of our VPN products.
Ensure testing aligns with the functional and technical requirements.
Bug Identification and Reporting
Identify, document, and track defects and issues in a clear and organized manner.
Collaborate with the development team to resolve issues promptly.
Test Automation
Assist in developing and maintaining automated test scripts for regression testing.
Continuously improve the test automation framework.
Product Quality Assurance
Conduct thorough regression testing to verify fixes and ensure existing features remain unaffected.
Review product requirements and provide feedback to the product management team.
Collaboration and Documentation
Communicate findings and test results effectively to cross-functional teams.
Maintain QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in VPN or software security products.
Familiarity with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit).
Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely in a part-time capacity.
Good written and verbal communication skills in both English.
