SHARP DEVELOPERS - custom mobile/web software developer in the US and Europe.

Our team is international (Germany, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Georgia, Uzbekistan, Greece, UK, Russia).

We are in search of DBA for various product development projects for our foreign clients. One of them is an accounting software (US-based). They have an existing product and currently improve this and extend with some integrations.

Our client's primary need and their primary software engine is Microsoft SQL Server (actually Azure SQL ).
We are looking for a DBA who will be responsible for:

• Azure SQL Dev, UAT and Prod servers
• Managing a team of SQL developers to develop new features
• Optimizing and reviewing current SQL code

You will work in an international team, so knowledge of English B2 or above is necessary.

If you prefer to continue working on unique foreign projects from Russia, we will give you such an opportunity.

> Database Design and Architecture:

• Design and implement robust database solutions to support business applications and processes.
• Ensure database architecture is scalable, maintainable, and adaptable to changing business needs.

> Performance Tuning and Optimization:

• Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving any issues to ensure efficient data flow and retrieval.
• Implement and maintain database indexing, stored procedures, scripts, and queries for optimal efficiency.

> Database Security and Compliance:

• Implement and enforce database security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.

> Backup and Recovery:

• Develop and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies and solutions.
• Perform regular database backups and test recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.

> Database Maintenance and Support:

• Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing database environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
