As CIO I have to learn everyday about new technologies and best practices that could be applied to our developing process and product release. Conduct market research and benchmarking.
I manage multiple teams and I always make a priority to get to know them. As certified Scrum master it became part of my job to make sure everyone is happy and
comfortable working on any project.
Among other things I create IT Architectures (Data, Software and Business Process) for our future products.
I manage multiple project portfolios and programs in web development, 3D development with Unity, AR/VR tech, IT Consulting.
I use Agile/Scrum for project management with Kanban elements.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER/ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT

Main job was to manage multiple projects and teams (project portfolio):
Web development with Odoo based information systems for asset management, MRO, construction management, supply chain and sails management, warehouse
management, fleet management and document management;
3D development with Unity engine using VR (Oculus Quest 2) and AR (HoloLens 2, Realwear) and BIM technologies. Mainly for construction management and virtual simulations.
As IT consultant optimized business processes, documents and IT infrastructures based on client’s company strategy and stakeholders needs.
For Smart City project implemented best world practices in ecology, energy consumption, construction and IoT for development of city strategy.
For project management used Agile/Scrum/Kanban practices among other instruments.

HEAD OF PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE
Trade and Transportation company, Nur-Sultan | 2014 - 2019
Main job was to manage multiple projects (project
portfolio) in fleet and rail road management systems,
sales, warehouse and construction. Hybrid Waterfall/Agile
model.

I like:
No pressure, but complex and difficult projects.
Working on any new technology especially when it involves AI, blockchain (web3 in particular) or VR/AR. As a personal matter I prefer Unity engine to Unreal engine.
Working with diverse and fun team members.
Flexibility and creativity. When juices are flowing, I could work 24/7 w/o additional payment.
Freedom of speech.
Brain storming and pitching ideas.
Matrix organizational structure.
Working remote.
Doing research and analyzing data.

I Dislike (Been there, done that, so no thank you!):
Bureaucracy
Spending too much time on documents
Spending too much time in unnecessary meetings, especially if I'm not even needed there
