As a bilingual grown up person (Tajik/Russian) with deep insight into both languages, I am interested in obtaining the position of translator/interpreter at your company. I received a bachelor's degree in English Language Teaching from Zirve University. Beyond this, I am near native to both English and Turkish. I translated academic papers from English to Turkish and vice versa. I worked as a reviewer and translator in my former workplace, and I was quite successful. Indeed, I regularly read books in all these languages to maintain my fluency in them. I am positive that I meet all the requirements that you have mentioned in your job description.
Specifically, I am knowledgeable in:
• Converting and translating source language to the target language
• Speaking, reading, and writing fluently in English, Russian, Tajik and Turkish
• Compiling information and technical terms into glossaries and terminology databases
• Relaying the style and tone of both languages
• Rendering verbal and written messages accurately, quickly, and clearly
Besides my language skills, I offer excellent computer proficiency and attention to detail. I have recently left my position so that I can focus my energies full-time on translation.
