Responsible for the design and development for the full product development cycle associated with Lime s Trading Systems. This will include all aspects from the requirements stage through design, testing to deployment. Primary focus will be on the low-latency trading server but will also have exposure to trading APIs, data storage, market data, etc.

As part of our growth strategy, we are looking to bring onboard a Software Engineer to join our core trading services team. As a Java Software Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of mission critical systems and will have the chance to learn from experienced technical leaders. Responsibilities :

- Develop high performance transactional systems that support our leading high-frequency trading platform;

- Develop code for electronic securities trading using FIX and proprietary protocols;

- Contribute advanced technical architecture and design of new product and product features;

- Maintain, design, and enhance existing trading ecosystem;

- Develop critical components and frameworks utilizing Java, Python, Scripting and Linux/Unix, Data Structures and Databases, Multi-threading, and Multi-processing;

- Coordinate across internal departments for product development and issue triaging;

- Attend Pre-Sales and Post-Sales meetings with clients ( US Eastern Time Zone) , able to communicate well with those, helping them use our products and triage issues.

Qualifications :

- 4+ years professional experience;

- Strong experience: Core Java, Spring, Service Architecture (SOA), Linux;

- Preferred experience: Spring Boot, ELK stack, Kafka (or other middleware);

- Nice to have: Relational Databases, Jenkins, Docker;

- Ability to work in fast-paced, distributed environment with shifting priorities;

- Team first mentality and strong passion for technology.
