Fundmates is a fintech platform for YouTube creators in the US, where creators raise funds to grow their channels and businesses. A creator joins our platform, secures funding, invests in content, team, or hiring, and starts scaling. Dozens of new creators join us every month, we've raised $30m+ to help creators growing faster by getting access to the capital, and we are growing at a rate of 100% per month.

We are looking for an SMM Manager to join our team and take charge of our commercial social media channels.

What You ll Do:

• Develop and execute YouTube strategies for different types of channels (original content, compilations understanding copyright rules and sources is crucial)

• Manage and optimize content for both long-form videos and Shorts, ensuring the right approach for each format

• Use SEO, analytics, and market research to improve discoverability and engagement

• Analyze video performance at different stages (first day, one week, long-term) and adjust strategies accordingly

• Plan and execute content calendars, ensuring a consistent posting schedule

• Curate or source video materials either selecting content independently or working with provided materials

• Track performance analytics, measure campaign success, and make data-backed decisions

• Stay ahead of YouTube trends, algorithm updates, and audience behavior

What We re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience managing YouTube channels (independent channel growth experience is a big plus)

• Experience with both startup channels and managing already established brands

• Understanding of content planning and creating content calendars

• Strong analytical skills ability to track and optimize videos based on performance data

• Experience managing compilation channels and ability to distinguish original sources

• Deep knowledge of YouTube SEO, keyword research, and audience targeting

• Excellent understanding of YouTube Analytics and monetization strategies

• Experience working with both long-form videos and Shorts, with an understanding of differences in descriptions, SEO, and engagement tactics

• English level B2 or higher

• Strong communication and time management skills

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Video editing skills are a big plus!
