Relocation to Germany, Leipzig: takes up to 3 months, starting remote, all managed by the company

Optimax Energy is a trading firm specialising on the renewable energy market that operates around the clock and around Europe, including Germany, France, Denmark, Netherlands, UK, Austria, Slovenia, Bulgaria. Our clients are renewable energy producers, energy suppliers and other trading companies

You are:

• Experienced Backend Developer with 3+ years of experience using Java


• Upper-intermediate / fluent in English (we are an international team of 10+ different cultures, using English as an everyday language. We are also proud to have Russian-speaking community within our team)


• Motivated and curious person who loves learning new technologies

Your responsibilities

• Further development and optimisation of the software infrastructure


• Requirements analysis, design and implementation of new features


• Backend development with JEE (Java 9 and 11)


• Expansion of our automated release process (continuous integration) and quality assurance (unit testing)


• Searching for and implementing own tasks

Status Quo

• Java 11


• Communication: YouTrack, work with agile methods


• IDE: Eclipse (RCP as framework) or rather IntelliJ


• CD: Jenkins


• Framework: up to you, we use Spring

What we offer:

• Salary: depending on the professional level, from 40.000 to 75.000 EUR yearly (gross) Net income calculation dependents on tax categories, however Senior level is somewhere around 4000 EUR net monthly
