An international banking as-a-service company (based in the UK) is interested in a candidate for a role of DevOps Engineer - a remote work. You will be working on architecting our platform and creating an automated deployment strategy for our application and cloud-based platform infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain an AWS cloud infrastructure aligning security, compliance, performance and resilience.
• Maintaining (and further development) of existing end to end deployment pipelines constantly trying to improve the process.
• Maintain availability, performance and readiness of dev, stage and production environments to support our release aspirations.
• Build and maintain monitoring, auditing, and reporting frameworks that produce artifacts which support security and compliance needs.
• Build and maintain a set of tools that enable developers to self-serve for most operational tasks
• In case of issues participate in resolving them on all environments through to resolution.
• Maintain and update AWS systems, including EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Security Groups, VPCs, ECS, ELB, ALB, etc.
• Maintain and enhance our environmental monitoring, ensuring we can provide a real time view on availability and performance.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience working in Development Operations.
• An in-depth understanding of modern software engineering/testing practice, tools and techniques.
• Hands on experience on public or private clouds AWS/GCP/Azure or other.
• Docker/Kubernetes deployment, configuration, scaling and management of containerized applications.
• Working knowledge on Ansible, Terraform, understanding of basic concepts.
• Good knowledge of Linux, and BASH scripting.
• Writing experience of helm charts.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.

• Observability tools usage experience (Jaeger).
