We are a global cleantech company producing and operating innovative solutions for plastic and aluminium recycling - Reverse Vending Machines. We are creating a global infrastructure that eliminates cause of plastic and aluminum pollution: collecting bottles and cans for recycling before they become waste, hence becoming an essential part of circular economy. Responsibilities
- Ensure all operations are carried on in an appropriate, cost-effective way within the Global division (EMEA, APAC, SEA, LATAM, Africa);
- Ensure compliance with international regulations;
- Formulate strategic and operational objectives of global operations;
- Build relationships with global vendors and waste management companies to define terms, overseeing the collection process, and ensuring quality control of operations;
- Purchase materials, plan inventory, and oversee warehouse efficiency;
- Improve operational management systems, processes, and best practices;
- Examine financial data and use them to improve profitability;
- Manage budgets and forecasts;
- Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs;
- Recruit, train and supervise staff;
- Direct report to the Head of Operations at Ecoplatform.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role of managing operations on an international scale;
- Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management;
- Understanding of international business practices and regulations;
- Experience budgeting and forecasting;
- Strong knowledge of P&L
- Familiarity with business and financial principles;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
- Leadership ability;
- Outstanding organizational skills;
- Degree in Supply Chain, Business Management or related field;
